Shovels in the Ground for Boyne Tannum Aquatic Centre 

Work has officially begun on the long awaited Boyne Tannum Aquatic Centre, marking an exciting new chapter for the Boyne Tannum community and the wider Gladstone Region. The start of construction represents a major milestone for a project that has enjoyed strong community support for many years. Once completed, the state of the art facility will provide a fantastic recreational and sporting hub for local families, schools, community groups and visitors. 

The new centre will feature an eight lane, 50 metre outdoor heated pool, complete with a retractable shade sail at the shallow end. Accessible change rooms, a kiosk, barbecues, picnic shelters and a locally themed children’s play area will create a welcoming space for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
