“From Central Queensland Junior to Australian Amateur Champion”. These are the words that Sandy Davidson’s coach wrote about her in a heartfelt message, highlighting her talent and lifelong passion for the game and the places that it’s taken her since her beginning.
Bill Webb had the privilege of coaching Sandy from the age of 11, and he could see her talent from the start. Her father, Mark Grimshaw, provided support and encouragement throughout her developmental years as she progressed through her career. Both men realised the enormous potential Sandy Davidson (then Grimshaw) possessed, and the girl from Boyne-Tannum was ready to show off her exceptional golf ability.
