The Frenchville 6-A-Side carnival has come to a close for another year, with teams from across the region enjoying a well-run and action-packed tournament. A huge thanks goes to Frenchville Football Club and Southside United for hosting yet another successful event.
It was a strong showing from our teams, with both the Premier Men and Ladies squads advancing to the A-grade Semi-Finals. The Men’s side put up a fierce fight against Central but bowed out in a tense penalty shootout. Meanwhile, the Premier Ladies edged past Bluebirds in their Semi with a penalty shootout victory, earning a spot in the Grand Final. They faced Mackay Lions in a tightly contested match but fell just short, going down 1-0.
