Our New Campus

Opening in 2025, our new 20-acre campus is complete with an Olympic size running track, hospitality facilities, libraries and more.

Trinity College has expanded and relocated our secondary school to our newly acquired Derby Street campus. This site previously housed the Gladstone TAFE campus and boasts a wide range of general use and specialist classrooms.

At launch, thirty learning areas will be open for use, with the remaining facilities renovated over time to enhance learning opportunities for our students. The facility allows for growth in our Vocational Education opportunities and Trinity College will be partnering with Central Queensland University to offer a range of certificate qualifications onsite.

This new facility will allow for growth in sporting, creative, scientific and community building programs.

Timeline

May 2024

Settlement of Derby Street purchase.

June 2024

Working with Platinum to ensure circuit boards are upgraded and compliant for commencement in January 2025.

July – September 2024

During Term 3, AC Aire optimised data and provided quotes for Building B, C, and D's air conditioning assessment, preparing for January upgrades. In August, the grounds team revitalised the gardens, transforming them beautifully. September saw Priority Painters refreshing the interiors, with further plans to paint the parapets soon.

October 2024

High Performance Unit & HPE Flooring foundation is primed and ready for the next instalment thanks to the multiple weeks of work completed by Gordon flooring!

November 2024

Upgrades are underway for the Hospitality Canteen, including the installation of energy-efficient equipment. Over the next weeks, Calliope Plumbing is setting up a fire hydrant system, and AC Aire is maintaining and updating air-conditioning systems to ensure compliance and readiness for January's operations.

December 2024

With thanks and deep appreciation for the team and contractors working on Derby Street, we take a moment to celebrate the changes so far. While the students are on holidays, the team certainly isn’t and there are more matters to attend to.
