No event proves that we are better when we stand united more than the annual Gladstone Multicultural Festival, held in the Marina Parkland earlier this month. Taking place on Father’s Day this year, the festivities kicked off at 10 am in the warm Spring sunshine for a day of dancing, singing, music, activities and community connection.
People from every continent gathered in the parklands to celebrate the wonderful diversity and culture the local region shares, with representatives from our First Nations peoples, Indonesia, Myanmar, China, Japan, Scotland, France, India, Sri Lanka, Brazil and so many more countries joining in the festivities, each with their own distinct cultures and gifts to offer Gladstone.
