The World Science Festival Queensland is set to return to the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre this August, bringing with it a thrilling celebration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through the theme Robots and Rocketry. The event promises to captivate visitors of all ages with interactive exhibits and hands-on activities showcasing the latest advancements in science and technology.
The festival kicks off on Friday, 29 August, with a dedicated Student Day, followed by a free Community Day on Saturday, 30 August. A new highlight this year is the participation of local students from the Future Makers STEM Challenge, who will showcase their innovative prototypes. These young inventors demonstrate the creativity and engineering skills growing within the Gladstone region.
