05 May 2022 Brisbane To Gladstone Village Wrap-Up
This year marked another successful celebration of the Brisbane to Gladstone Village and Easter in Gladstone.
Benito Zussino, the Director of the Brisbane to Gladstone Village said that this year was a culmination of lots of hard work and planning.
“We were really please to finally see all events delivered in their entirety. We’ve had a few challenging years with Covid so it was really pleasing to finally see all events delivered as we’d envisaged,” said Benito.
Crowd favourites this year included Easter Saturday’s Seafood Festival, and Easter Sunday’s Line Crossing Party.
“I really enjoyed the crowd-favourite ‘The Hamilton Band’ turning one on Sunday night at the Line Crossing Party. The highlight this year was probably the amazing seafood spread at the Yachtsman’s Long Lunch .While we’re still to debrief about this year’s event, next year we’re expecting the same sorts of events, but we are hoping to add a few more options.”
In the total of events held by the Brisbane to Gladstone Village, over 8000 people were in attendance.
“This number exceeded our expectations. It was an amazing weekend for Gladstone and it was pleasing to be able to play a part in the festivities.”
