Recently the Gladstone Athletics Club hosted the 2024 Combined Sport Events Carnival where the vibrant energy of the carnival has left a trail of laughter, cheers, and outstanding athletic feats in its wake. When asked about memorable moments, one incident stood out amidst the activities. “The most memorable moment was the Adult athletes all doing the long jump and 800m, all the kids and spectators laughed a lot.”
Delving deeper into the divers groups that participated, it became evident that the youngest competitors stole the show with their remarkable performances. From the under 7’s to the under 9’s these little athletes displayed astounding talent and determination, captivating the audience with their energy and enthusiasm.
