The Gladstone Region is moving into an exciting new chapter with the Agnes Water Skate Park revitalisation project now underway this year, delivering a major boost to youth recreation and community infrastructure. Construction on the $1.94 million upgrade is commencing in February and is expected to be completed by late May, weather permitting.
Jointly funded by the Australian Government’s Growing Regions Program – Round 1 and Gladstone Regional Council, the project represents a strong commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive recreational spaces. As demand grows for safe and engaging outdoor facilities, the upgraded skate park will offer a modern, purpose-built environment for skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter users and families alike.
