Birralee Kindy Celebrates 50 years

This year Birralee Kindy proudly celebrates its 50th year of Early Childhood Education here in Gladstone. Over the years, we have seen thousands of 3-5 year old of children pass through our doors, many now who are returning as parents of their own Birralee Kindy kids.

Birralee Kindergarten is nestled in the quiet streets behind the duck ponds at 25 Higgins St, West Gladstone. Built in 1967 it was known as West Gladstone Community Kindergarten.   Our first President was Mr Graham Wilson (a local dentist) who still resides in Gladstone today. Birralee has always run under the guidance of its Directors and Management Committee which is made up of our parents, who kindly volunteer their time.
