The Gladstone Region is excited to invite primary school-aged children to unleash their creativity in the highly anticipated ‘Celebrate Australia Primary School Art Competition 2025’. Now in its 19th year, this competition serves as a vibrant platform for young students to express their unique perspectives on what Australia means to them through the medium of art. Participants are encouraged to use any artistic approach they prefer, whether it’s drawing, painting, or creating collages, all on A4 paper.

The competition is open to all primary school students, allowing each child to submit one entry. They can participate through their school or as individual entrants, but each submission must include a completed entry form. To ensure a diverse range of artistic expressions, the competition is divided into two sections: Section One is specifically for students in Prep to Year 2, while Section Two is designated for those in Year 3 to Year 6.
