Chanel College’s Year 9 and 10 Girls’ Rugby League team has made a dream debut in the 2025 Rockhampton & District Secondary Schools Rugby League Girls Competition, delivering a commanding 60–0 win over The Cathedral College Green in Round 1.
Played at Rockhampton State High School, the match marked a historic milestone for the Gladstone-based school, which this year launched its inaugural Girls’ Rugby League Program. The team’s opening performance was nothing short of outstanding, with a clinical mix of teamwork, individual brilliance, and sheer determination on display.
