Gladstone’s Coffee and Conversations Celebrates its One Year Anniversary
In a town where transient populations can often lead to feelings of isolation, a unique initiative has been fostering a sense of community and belonging. Coffee and Conversations, hosted monthly at Slow Lane Cafe, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, marking a significant milestone in bringing together new and old residents alike.
Coffee and Conversations was launched by Ying Chin, James Harris, and Simon McClintock, who experienced firsthand the challenges of making friends in Gladstone after moving here for work. According to James, “It was designed to provide a casual and welcoming space for people to connect and the concept quickly gained traction, attracting a diverse group of people.”
