Roseberry Qld, in partnership with Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) and Micah Projects, has introduced an ambitious initiative to tackle homelessness in Central Queensland. The CQ Zero project employs the Advance to Zero methodology, a globally recognised approach that combines real-time data, local advocacy, and collaborative community leadership to drive meaningful change.
At the heart of the CQ Zero project is the development of a “Know-By-Name” list—a comprehensive database that enables service providers to identify, track, and coordinate support for individuals experiencing homelessness. This targeted approach ensures that people receive timely and appropriate assistance, bridging gaps in the current system. Additionally, the project includes a critical health focus, addressing the physical, mental, and substance-related health challenges that often accompany homelessness.
