23 Aug EmpowerHER: Celebrating Women’s Health and Resilience this Women’s Health Week at the Health and Wellbeing Exhibition
The Women’s Health and Wellbeing Expo is being held at the Gladstone Ports Corporation Marina Parklands next month on the 9th of September.
From 11 am to 3 pm, there will be a variety of market stalls, helpful informative local businesses in the health and wellbeing space for women to meet and connect with. There will also be a wonderful range of live performances throughout the day, as well as entertainment for the kids. There will also be free yoga and pilates classes in the park, with Immy Yoga and Kylie Pilates.
Gladstone Women’s Health Centre is passionate about supporting and empowering women and what better way to celebrate women and offer them further support by hosting an exhibition!
Gladstone Women’s Health was originated by local volunteer women, who all envisioned a society of supporting one another.
Since then, the organisation has expanded into thirty years of service and is offering an abundance of support services such as:
- Free Counselling
- Court Support
- Domestic & Family Violence Matters
GWHC are dedicated to providing every woman and child who enter their doors with the help they need, to ensure that anyone who is in crisis knows that they aren’t going through it alone.
