05 Dec Get ready for the POWER ACADEMY!
Port City Power is excited to announce the Power Academy in partnership with The Walmsley Advantage!
The program will commence in January 2020 and aims to provide ambitious Gladstone-based players with holistic developmental support to improve their skills. The Power Academy will also focus on exposure to strength and conditioning, leadership development, pathway advice and education on advanced team concepts.
Owner and Founder of The Walmsley Advantage, Brady Walmsley spoke to Gladstone News about how the program would help to support aspiring players to build their skills to a professional level:
“The Walmsley Advantage is focused on supporting the peak performance of individuals, groups and organisations through a variety of different services. One of the points of separation with The Walmsley Advantage is the full complement of services that we are able to provide.”
Some of the services provided by The Walmsley Advantage include guest presenting, motivational speaking, high performance team building, leadership coaching, career coaching and strategic planning.
“I’ve been blessed with an incredible range of learning opportunities throughout my career, both experiential and academic, and I’m lucky enough to now be able to extend my support to others through the Power Academy,” Brady said.
The Power Academy will be led by Port City Head Coaches, Brady Walmsley & Ray Cooper, with one on-court and one off-court session each week for a total of twenty sessions. It’s aimed at players from fourteen years of age and older and will cost $200 per player.
