Two weeks ago, the Gladstone South Swimming Club proudly sent two of its swimmers, Billy and Jack, to the Sunshine Coast to compete in the Wide Bay Short Course Championships. The event proved to be a resounding success for both athletes, who delivered outstanding performances, achieving personal bests (PBs) and winning several medals.
Billy had a stellar weekend, clinching silver medals in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, and 50m butterfly events. He also secured bronze in the 200m backstroke and 100m butterfly, showcasing his versatility and strength across multiple strokes.
