Gladstone welcomes new fashion and lifestyle store

Elm Lifestyle offers an energetic mix of fashion, gifts and homewares.

The Australian brand, which was created out of a coastal town near Melbourne, has now found its way to Gladstone, with a new boutique opening in Stockland in August.

With 17 stores mostly in regional areas, Gladstone was an obvious choice according to Elm Lifestyle’s Rails Wilson.

“We’re a relatively young retailer, and our strategy is to support local, especially regional centres and their wonderful local communities,” she said.

“We are particularly excited to be part of the Gladstone Region as community based shopping centres like Stockland Gladstone offer convenience and a broad mix of offerings in growing areas.

“Our blend of fashion that takes in easy to wear fundamentals, along with our stunning array of gifts and homewares is ideal for the curious and busy shopper that likes to have options at their fingertips.”

A size inclusive store that stocks a range from sizes six to 22, Elm offers a 20 per cent discount year round to AHPRA medical staff and teachers.

“To show our appreciation for everything they do,” Rails said.

“We can’t wait to meet and become a wonderful supporter of community life in Gladstone.

“At this point in time we have three employees at our Gladstone boutique, and we would love to see that grow as the community embraces our offering and the store gets busier and busier.”

Stockland Gladstone Centre Manager Diana Mitchell said she was excited to welcome Elm to “our family of retailers at Stockland Gladstone”.

“We know customers will enjoy shopping their range of comfortable and beautiful colours, prints and styles,” she said.

“We’ve also recently welcomed Cotton On, Cotton On Body and The Athlete’s Foot to the centre, with You & All, a plus size and curvy clothing and accessories brand, also set to open in the coming weeks.

“It’s all part of our commitment to creating the best retail mix possible for our customers.”
