16 Dec Huge turnout for annual Christmas Street Party
Hundreds of residents flocked to the Gladstone CBD earlier this month to kick off the festive season at Gladstone Regional Council’s Christmas Street Party.
Taking place in the Goondoon Street Entertainment Precinct the December 5 event included the lighting of the City’s Christmas Tree, roving entertainment, market and food stalls, children’s activities, the annual dance parade and of course an appearance by Santa.
The nine-metre Christmas Tree sits on the edge of Library Square and will be on display, lighting up each night, until January 5.
