So this week has been alright. I’ve got access to a balanced diet, it’s exercising that has always been an issue for myself. I had a gym membership with my partner and my sister, and it worked well when I had someone to go with, but I had some anxiety whenever I went by myself, and with mismatched schedules, more often than not I didn’t have someone I could go to gym with, and so I would stay at home instead.
It’s been great going to Cross Fit Escape with the other participants in the group, but we’re on our break weeks for the school holidays, so I’m on my own again. This has made me think about ways to exercise at home. I’ve always been advised to swim or walk around the block and other things like that, but that’s just not my style. I hate swimming and I don’t always feel safe walking around alone. I’ve really looked into my options with things that work for me. So I’ve busted out my hula hoop again! It’s something I love and it’s a good workout too. Then there’s also video workouts on YouTube that I’ve been interested in for ages but I’ve never really applied myself to it. Until now at least and when I put them both together I get an awesome workout happening.
