Much-Loved Gladstone Real Estate Agent Retires After Over 30 Years

Roslyn Newberry has recently retired after a 31-year career at Raine & Horne Gladstone.

Mark Patton, the Principal of Raine & Horne Gladstone, said that Ros was an inspiration to everyone during her longstanding career as a Real Estate Agent.

“Ros is a true professional who demonstrated that excellence is something to strive for every day. She inspired everyone around her, and we know that this will only continue into her retirement with the things she is passionate about,” said Mark.

Ros had a career in Real Estate for 32 years, with 31 of those spent at Raine & Horne. During that time, she knocked out more than fifteen awards, and was involved with a huge amount of various community organisations.

“Not only has Ros made a huge contribution to our office, but she also touched many, many lives in satisfying their real estate needs. Ros’ ability to provide clients confidence and empathy in sometimes very difficult situations is just one of her many great attributes. Not only did Ros make a huge contribution to the regional Real Estate Industry and to Raine & Horne, but her tireless commitment to bettering people’s lives is a true reflection of her character.”

Towards the end of her career, Ros embraced new technologies and made herself available for new training and negotiating techniques. This choice was founded on the belief that improving her already well-established skill set would contribute to better outcomes for her clients.

“It comes as no surprise that Ros finished her career with two different ‘Million Dollar +’ sales in the last month. Ros’ greatest achievement though is probably being the president of the local Cancer Council, where she has worked tirelessly over many years in coordinating and running events such as Relay for Life.”
