07 Sep Parks booking system streamlined
As of last week residents are now able to book Gladstone Regional Council parks via an improved booking system on Council’s website. The new system is much more streamlined and will make it much easier for people to make a booking, or find out if they don’t require a booking at all.
Residents can read through a set of qualifying questions to determine whether a booking is necessary, which will save time for some. The booking process requires the resident to follow three simple steps; selecting a suitable park from the new index, completing the appropriate park booking application form and returning the form back to Council.
The updated parks index was complete with location maps and an outline of what was on offer at each Council park. This will make it easier for residents to distinguish what park may suit their needs, for events or functions.
Residents are now required to select one of two interactive park booking application forms for public or private events. These will better explain what is expected of the customer, their responsibilities, and the different requirements for each.
Tentative bookings are no longer being taken for private functions which means residents will need to submit an application to secure their proposed dates, and residents are encouraged to book up to one year in advance for community events.
