The staff at Remax Gold Gladstone too full advantage of the best excuse to stay in their pyjamas all day.
On National Pyjama Day the team spread awareness and raised funds for the Pyjama Foundation by rocking their sleepwear and onesies. Along with the Blood Bank, Remax has been collecting pyjamas to donate to local children and young adults in foster care. So far, they have collected 80 pairs of Pyjamas, but are still hoping to hit their goal of 100 by Monday the 31st of July.
“We’ve had a fantastic response to date but still want more for this fabulous organisation to distribute to foster families. Thanks again to our awesome staff for getting behind today, and to the ever-generous Gladstone community,” said Shane McLeod from Remax Gold.
The Pyjama Foundation raising funds to give education and support to foster children and the money raised helps volunteer mentors called pyjama angels. There are currently 40 registered Pyjama Angels in the Gladstone region but the foundation says they are always in need of more.
To support this great cause, drop off a pair of pyjamas or make a donation at Remax Gold at 2 Mellefont Street, West Gladstone. Sizes from 7 to large teen are the most needed.
