The newest addition to Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours’ ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht fleet will introduce a new era in small ship cruising, when Scenic Eclipse II cruises into Sydney Harbour on the 19th of April and then visit the port of Newcastle on 22nd April, the city where Scenic was founded 38 years ago. The ship will then embark on a voyage of discovery exploring the Australian waters for the first time with a series of luxurious journeys throughout 2024 to early 2026. The ship will also be arriving into Gladstone on ANZAC Day, 25th April for a stopover.
The ultra-luxury adventure yacht accommodates just 228 guests and is brand new, having travelled through some of the world’s most remote and spectacular locations this year, with onward journeys along the East Coast and Top End of Australia, Kimberley, Indonesian Archipelago, South Pacific, New Zealand, and East Antarctica over the next two years. Some of the incredible features of the ship include two helicopters, a fleet of zodiacs, a seven-passenger submarine, butler service, invitation-only degustation experiences, and an extensive expert team, spanning geologists, naturalists, polar expedition guides and anthropologists.
