The world’s largest purpose-built seagrass restoration nursery has officially opened at CQUniversity’s Coastal Marine Ecosystems Research Centre (CMERC) in Gladstone. The unveiling of the SeaGrow nursery is the first step in a $15 million redevelopment of CMERC, backed by funding from the Coles Group and the Federal Government. This investment is aimed at developing research solutions to promote sustainable coastal environments.
