Carla has been styling with a purpose for over 30 years, building confidence in women. Our women come from all walks of life and from all types of situations such as drug and alcohol addiction, prison, or probation, violent or destructive relationships, sexual abuse, and mental health issues. Often, they have been stripped of their confidence, self-worth, identity and feel that they are not deserving of anything good. One woman told me that for many years she felt dirty, disgusting, and ashamed to even exist after what had happened to her. There are so many harrowing stories that are shared during our “real talk” part of the program, they can share whatever they wish, or not share at all.
