The Museum, which has been volunteer-run since its opening in April last year, needs more volunteers to continue offering their experiences.
The two experiences- hourly tours of the patrol boat HMAS Gladstone and entrance into the museum- both require consistent volunteer presence. Mercedes Heymer, a long-term volunteer with the Gladstone Maritime Society said that while they currently have a fantastic group of volunteers, they still need more.
