A new initiative is set to breathe life into long-abandoned facilities in South Gladstone, providing much-needed affordable housing for essential service workers and vulnerable residents over 55. The ARC21 project, led by The Shelter Collective, will refurbish the vacant Cooinda and Hibiscus Gardens facilities on Sigg Street, repurposing them into safe and secure homes for those struggling with rental stress.
