To help you celebrate Women’s Health Week we’ve sourced an awesome DIY Face Mask for you to try at home – apply and enjoy 20 relaxing minutes to yourself with a cup of tea and a good book.
DIY Banana Face Mask
Bananas are packed with ingredients for great skin, vitamin A to fade dark spots and blemishes and smooth out rough skin, vitamin B to reduce dryness, vitamin E to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and potassium to moisturize and hydrate.
So the fruit makes a perfect all-natural, homemade face mask that leaves skin looking and feeling softer.
- 1/4 cup plain yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons of honey (a natural acne remedy)
- 1 medium banana
- A container
Step 1: Mash up a medium-sized banana into a smooth paste.
Step 2: Mix in yoghurt and honey.
Step 3: Gently apply it to your face and neck and let is set for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Rinse off with cold water.
