The construction phrase of the alumina plant began in August 1965 with the arrival of eight engineers from the United States, and many contracts were granted depending on the distinct qualifications of the companies. There were many tanks, boiler stacks and a hot air exhaust to be erected along with administration blocks, all of which needed many workers to construct.
