Gladstone Ports Corporation’s (GPC) is proud to announce that its Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) program has been shortlisted for a 2019 IAPH World Ports Sustainability Awards. Nominated in the Governance and Ethics category, the ILUA has been selected as one of three nominations put forward for a public vote.
The ILUA was voluntarily established in 2014 between First Nations Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, Taribelang Bunda People Aboriginal Corporation and GPC to ensure the responsible and respectful management of the lands and sea on which GPC operates.
