The Gladstone News pick up stands have had a facelift, thanks to the team at the Gladstone Men’s Shed. After their publication’s recent rebrand Gladstone News engaged the men’s shed to build four new stands to be placed across the region. Chief Executive Officer of Gladstone News, Ashleigh Kvitko said she was really impressed with the service received from the men’s shed. “The program at the men’s shed is a wonderful initiative. I am extremely happy with the products they have built. The Men’s Shed is an important place providing a space for men to either work or simply socialise. The shed is also an important tool in addressing the health and wellbeing of men in Gladstone assisting them to feel valued and productive members of our community,” she added.
The Gladstone Men’s Shed has been established in Gladstone for over six years. Operating out of their building in Barney Point the facility is equipped with a variety of tools for wood and metal work.
