Let’s Walk to Defeat Motor Neurone Disease!

The first ever Walk to Defeat MND is going to be held at Gladstone to help those impacted by Motor Neurone Disease. This is an awareness and fundraising event to be held on Saturday the 23^rd of March at the Gladstone Marina Parklands from 9 am. All funds raised will be donated to MND Queensland to assist those diagnosed with MND.

Kelli has partnered up with her daughter, Lara, and local Kylie Wilson to host this event as they have all personally been impacted and lost loved ones to this disease. For Kelli, the walk is in memory of her amazing and inspirational husband, Matt who passed away at the age of 40 in June of 2017. Matt was only 38 when he was diagnosed. Kylie started organising this walk in honour of her father who had been diagnosed with MND, however, sadly he recently lost his battle with this disease.
