WHERE DO YOU VOLUNTEER? Birralee Kindergarten and as a Foster Carer.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN VOLUNTEERING THERE FOR? With Birralee Kindergarten as a Fundraising Coordinator, Social Coordinator and Child Safety Coordinator for a few months and 8 years as a Foster Carer.
WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO VOLUNTEER THERE?
My children have and do, attended Birralee Kindergarten and I want to be a positive role model for my girls. I volunteer to show them that their education matters to me. I volunteer as a Foster Carer because children are our future, and all children deserve the best start in life.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT VOLUNTEERING? The satisfaction I get from not complaining about life problems, but actually tackling them.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO VOLUNTEER? Volunteering is being part of the solution, however small your input maybe.
