Symphony Under the Stars: Around the World

Queensland Symphony Orchestra returns to Gladstone for their annual Symphony Under the Stars concert. Visit Finland and marvel at Sibelius’ icy soundscapes, step into a bustling Bohemian village and enjoy Dvorak’s Slavonic dances, and feel the magic of Totoro, one of Japan’s most-loved animated characters. Bring your own chair or a blanket to the family-friendly event, there will be food and beverage vendors on site.

Where: Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre
Cost: Free
Celebrate the wonder and joy of science with a range of activities from launching rockets to out of this world virtual reality experiences. The day will also include a Big Bang Science Show at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm.
